What game hurts you the more stages you survive? Cancer.

Now that I have you belly-laughing because I’m so damn funny, my name is Kelsey. I’m a 25 year-old mother, just recently diagnosed with Stage 1B Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Good thing I started this game early because I’d be livid if I was at stage 3 or 4.

I’ve found that it has been extremely hard to update family and friends about what is going on with me. So here I am, creating a blog so I don’t have to repeat myself a million times to all the people who love me.

As an advocate and Paralegal, I bring awareness to sexual assault and eliminating all forms of sexual violence. When I found out about my diagnosis, my advocate-self kicked in. I didn’t want to keep my mouth shut about this. It can happen to anyone, as you can see. I wanted to share my story and show that, through any adversity you face, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel and good things will prevail above all.
